The Group's success story began with the resourcefulness and persistence of its founder. Mohamed Abou Youssef was a keen engineer who first designed and built many villas, banks, factories and hospitals. Then he seized the moment of Egypt's liberalization in 1970's and negotiated with major international companies specialized in Power Generation, Marine Propulsion, Swimming Pool equipment and concrete additives to become their sole representative in Egypt. To date the Group has over 1500 employees.
